About
Thank you for your interest in our Georgia Cycling Association mountain bike team. Below are answers to the most commonly asked questions. Please let me know if you need more information.
The 2024 season will be the 11th year that the Georgia Cycling Association has been running high school and middle school mountain bike racing. We are a 10th-year team, having started with just a few student athletes. We had nearly 90 riders last year, with our boys and girls ranging from 6th graders to high school seniors. This past season we continued our Mentor Program to encourage team spirit and encourage our riders.
Rising 6th-12 graders may attend any school in our area (or be home schooled). We currently manage 6 teams, including Allatoona Creek Composite, and teams for Allatoona, Harrison, Hillgrove, Marietta and North Cobb high schools. Practices, coaching and race support are all shared. All riding skill levels are welcome, racing is NOT required!
